In this context, 'the crown' serves as a symbol representing hair culture. Historically, black and brown hair has faced rejection in European and American societies, while finding acceptance within its own community. The ongoing struggle to embrace our crown has evolved through generations due to widespread rejection in the Western world. The purpose of this photoshoot is to celebrate and ceremoniously acknowledge the black and brown individual's crown, highlighting the journey towards acceptance and empowerment.
